Imaginationsworkshop: Zukunftsbild \u00bbSorgendes Quartier\u00ab<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In allen Bereichen des menschlichen und nicht-menschlichen Zusammenlebens lassen sich Sorgebeziehungen entdecken: Menschen sorgen f\u00fcreinander in Gemeinschaften, \u00adRegierungen\u00ad tragen Sorge f\u00fcr eine gleichberechtigte Beteiligung aller B\u00fcrger*innen, soziale Bewegungen wie Fridays for Future sorgen sich um globale Klimagerechtigkeit und Mikroben sorgen f\u00fcr fruchtbare B\u00f6den. Sorge (Care) ist dabei nicht nur eine Aktivit\u00e4t \u2014 sie ist eine Perspektive, eine Haltung, mit der wir auf die Orga\u00adni\u00adsation gesellschaftlichen Lebens blicken k\u00f6nnen. So l\u00e4sst sich Care und Demokratie zusammendenken: Demokratie, als ein Netz an Sorgebeziehungen, in dem niemand ohne Sorge ist, in dem die Zuweisung von Sorgeverantwortung demo\u00adkratisch ausgehandelt wird, in dem das Sorgetragen f\u00fcr ein gleichberechtigtes Miteinander als b\u00fcrger*innenschaftliche Verantwortung verstanden wird und in dem Solidarit\u00e4t und Sorge zentrale demokratische Werte sind.
Doch was hei\u00dft das in der Praxis? Um konkrete Ans\u00e4tze zu finden, blicken wir in einem Imaginationsworkshop auf die \u00adEbene des Quartiers: Was w\u00fcnschen wir uns von einem sorgenden Quartier? Welche Elemente und Sorgebeziehungen kann dieses umfassen, um ein gleichberechtigtes, freies und solidarisches (Zusammen-)Leben zu erm\u00f6glichen? Wo finden wir bereits in der Gegenwart Ans\u00e4tze f\u00fcr ein Sorgetragen im Quartier? St\u00fcck f\u00fcr St\u00fcck n\u00e4hern wir uns so dem Zukunftsbild \u00bbsorgendes Quartier\u00ab.

In relation to Bruno Latour's examination of the ecological crises, Kristina Fromm, Marius F\u00f6rster and Jacqueline Hen looked at the metaphor of humanity destroying its future while fleeing from its own past - running backwards, as it were. Only recently have we turned to the future to realise with horror the destruction we have wrought behind our backs - and continue to do so.<\/p>\\n

Are we now left with no future? What are we heading for? Apocalypse? Again? And if we accept that the apocalypse is moving towards us, how not to go into shock? Standing on shaky ground, notions of the world break down and force us to reassemble them and try out unknown forms of action.<\/p>\\n

Developed for the MHK Biennale, the immersive installation and temporary library Apocalypse A_AP (As _____ As Possible) invites us to explore intersecting discourses from design, art and the humanities. Shifting between theory and fiction, the installation relies on dialogue and reflection to find new ways of thinking. Visitors are invited to leave behind the reality of their own everyday lives to discover the uncertain and chaotic cosmos we have accumulated behind our backs - landscapes riddled with cracks and holes that may expand into paths of action. The work is accompanied by a series of readings.<\/p>\\n
