Kristina Fromm (sie/ihr)
Kristina Fromm works as a designer, researcher, teacher and cultural and political educator in the field of social, emancipatory and sustainable transformations. She is currently researching right-wing spaces and democratic counter-concepts for anti-racist urban design.
Most recently, she worked as a research assistant at the Bundesakademie für Kulturelle Bildung Wolfenbüttel in the project "KuBiDemo. Cultural Education as Democracy Education", in which she researched and made visible the democratising potential of cultural education in cooperation with the University of Hildesheim. Prior to this, she developed the project "Dive in. Programme for Digital Interactions" - also at the Bundesakademie - she developed a qualification programme that supports cultural institutions in their digital mediation work and poses the question of adequate cultural work in the digital world. As a lecturer, she investigated feminist heterotopias and their design together with students at the Braunschweig University of Art (HBK). She studied transformation design at the HBK Braunschweig as well as art history and philosophy at the University of Vienna and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She has also completed further training as a change manager at the IU Internationale Hochschule.
